About Gstaad
In 2015, the gallery found a home at Vieux Chalet, the former chalet of Gunther Sachs, where an eclectic hanging of modern and contemporary artworks from the gallery’s roster of artists was presented. Since then until 2025, Hauser & Wirth’s activities in the Saanenland – helmed by James Koch, Partner and Executive Director at Hauser & Wirth – have included public installation projects with the Gstaad Palace, featuring outdoor works by Martin Creed and Jenny Holzer, and exhibitions at Tarmak22 and Casa Gstaad.
