To celebrate the launch of the publication ‘A Cookbook for Iwan: From Studio to Stove,’ we’re inviting you to respond to art through food.
Visit one of our galleries and art centres and Artfarm’s hospitality spaces, choose an artwork that inspired you and imagine it as a recipe. A painting might become a soup. A sculpture might become a feast. A drawing might become a dessert.
Submit your recipe before Saturday 31 October and become part of Your Cookbook for Iwan—a digital global community cookbook inspired by art, imagination and shared experience.

How to Participate:
Visit one of our galleries and art centres and Artfarm’s hospitality spaces
Choose an artwork that inspires you
Imagine that artwork as a recipe or an image of a finished dish
You might consider:
Colour
Texture
Shape
Memory
Mood
Place
Storytelling
Materials
Submit your creative recipe responses via email and help us to build ‘Your Cookbook for Iwan,’ a global collection of recipes and images inspired by art.

Submission Requirements
Participants should submit:
A written recipe (500 words max)
and/or
Images (photo/drawing/artwork) (jpeg or png format)
Send them via email to: learning@hauserwirth.com (emails should be no larger than 10MB)
Required Information
Full name
Age (18+ confirmation or parent/guardian consent if under 18)
Gallery or venue visited
Artist name
Recipe title
Optional Information
Photograph of completed dish
Drawing, sketch or artwork inspired by the experience
Social media handle
Language
Submissions are welcomed in any language
Selected entries may be translated for publication
Digital Consent & Rights
By submitting an entry, participants agree that Hauser & Wirth may:
Publish submitted recipes
Edit entries for length, grammar, formatting and translation
Include entries in the final digital cookbook
Share entries across websites, newsletters, social media and educational materials

Image Usage
Participants grant permission for submitted images to be reproduced for non-commercial educational, marketing and promotional purposes related to the project.
Attribution
Contributors whose submissions are featured will be credited by name unless anonymity is requested.
Ownership
Participants retain ownership of their original content. By submitting an entry, contributors grant Hauser & Wirth a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to reproduce, publish and promote the work in connection with Your Cookbook for Iwan.
Data Protection & Privacy
Personal information will be collected solely for the administration of the project.
Information may be used to:
Process submissions
Contact participants regarding their entry
Notify selected contributors
Deliver project updates
Personal data will be handled in accordance with Hauser & Wirth's Privacy Policy and applicable data protection legislation, including GDPR where applicable.
Participants may request removal of their personal information at any time by contacting the project team.
