16 – 22 June 2025
Booth C10
We return to Art Basel this year with works by 20th-century masters including Philip Guston, Louise Bourgeois, Arshile Gorky and more, and contemporary highlights from artists Rashid Johnson, Jeffrey Gibson, Mark Bradford, Nairy Baghramian, Henry Taylor, Cindy Sherman, Nicole Eisenman and Roni Horn.
The gallery brings Felix Gonzalez-Torres’s iconic ‘‘Untitled’ (Go-Go Dancing Platform)’ to Unlimited, which has been shown in more than 30 exhibitions. Once a day, a lamé-clad go-go dancer ascends the platform with a personal listening device for approximately five minutes. It was made in 1991 during a moment of profound personal loss and against a backdrop of widespread homophobia, yet it offers moments of joy and desire.
The booth will focus on exceptional works by artists central to our DNA: Philip Guston and Louise Bourgeois. ‘Migration’ (1978) is a distinctive Guston painting whilst ‘Pregnant Woman II’ (1947 – 1949) is a lustrous example of Bourgeois’s celebrated Personages.
Further 20th-century works include paintings by Susan Rothenberg, Arshile Gorky, Eva Hesse and Maria Lassnig, and sculptures by Eduardo Chillida and Jack Whitten. Beyond the gallery’s roster are paintings by Blinky Palermo, Robert Ryman and Jean Tinguely.
New works debuting at the fair include ‘Quiet Painting “Spectrum”’ (2025) from Rashid Johnson’s new series, an acrylic on canvas with glass beads by Jeffrey Gibson and outstanding creations by Mark Bradford, George Condo, Nicolas Party, Avery Singer, Firelei Báez and more.
Contemporary highlights range from a recent Henry Taylor painting to significant early pieces, such as Nicole Eisenman’s masterpiece ‘Coping’ (2008) and a work by Cindy Sherman from 1981. The fair selection includes key sculptures by renowned artists Roni Horn, Nairy Baghramian and Barbara Chase-Riboud.
