Newly Commissioned Works Unveiled at the Obama Presidential Center
The recently opened Obama Presidential Center in Chicago features site-specific artist commissions from Mark Bradford, Jeffrey Gibson, Jenny Holzer, Rashid Johnson and Lorna Simpson that showcase the depth and breadth of President and Mrs. Obama’s commitment to public art and artists whose practices illuminate the complexities of place, identity and belonging.
