Due to the nature of the site, we are unable to offer self-led group visits.

What is a Learning Group Visit?
Learning Groups are invited to take part in a guided tour of the current exhibition, exploring artwork and artists through observation and discussion. Led by members of our Learning team, these sessions are experiential, discursive and take an inquiry-based approach. Visits can be tailored to suit the age, interests and learning objectives of your group.

What will your visit look like?

• Arrival and welcome in the Implement Shed

• Guided exhibition tour exploring the artists and themes of the current exhibition

• Opportunity to visit the Oudolf Field and outdoor sculpture presentation, where appropriate

• Use of the Implement Shed for a lunch break, if requested

• Short, age-appropriate debrief session in the Implement Shed, subject to time available

Learning Group Size
The recommended ratio of school staff or adult helpers to students is 1:5 (aged 5 – 6), 1:10 (aged 7 – 10) and 1:15 (aged 11 – 18). The maximum group size is 50.

Access
We strive to make our learning program as inclusive as possible and look forward to welcoming groups with children, young people and learners with special education needs and disabilities (SEND).

All public areas are accessible for wheelchair users. We recommend informing us of additional needs and disabilities in advance of the visit.
