Selection of books included in this year’s donation program

Friday 8 November 2024

Since launching the partnership in 2021, with a series of workshops, screenings, talks and book donations, we are continuing to work with Menorca’s local libraries to expand their art book collection.

Following the donation of Susana Chillida’s memoir ‘Una vida para el arte’ (2024) in October 2024 and facilitating a book club led by Jara Sánchez, this year’s selection includes a diverse range of titles that delve into contemporary art, nature, identity, and creative expression. Highlights include: ‘Mark Bradford: Ágora’ (2021), ‘Luchita Hurtado: I Live, I Die, I Will Be Reborn (2019), Hauser & Wirth Publishers titles ‘Rita Ackermann: Mama’ (2021) and ‘Anj Smith: Drifting Habitations’ (2023), as well as the children’s book ‘Un artista es...’ (2024) by Marta Ardite.

These books, available in Catalan, Spanish and English, for readers of all ages, are now available in the libraries.
