Join Hauser & Wirth Somerset and Roth Bar & Grill for our annual Pumpkin Festival.
This free, family-friendly event includes: live music, pumpkin carving, pumpkin-themed games and competitions, face painting and story telling with our charity partner Bruton Community Library.
Although this event is free, advance booking is recommended. Food cooked by Roth Bar & Grill will also be available to purchase throughout the day.
Activities
10 am – 4 pm
• Apple bobbing, pumpkin skittles, pumpkin shy and musical pumpkins
• Pumpkin carving workshops
• Face painting
• Plasticine animation with Jim Parkyn
• Storytelling and creative writing sessions with Bruton Community Library
11 am and 2.30 pm
• Crafts, music, movement and percussion with Jenna Doodles & Sing-a-ling

• Quirkiest pumpkin
• Best carved pumpkin
• Best pumpkin loaf cake
Participants must bake the same pumpkin loaf cake recipe, which can be found here. The judge will be looking for a well-presented cake that has followed the recipe and is well baked. Please drop your entries at the marquee before 11 am. Prizes will be given to first, second and third place.
