Students are provided with hands-on experience in media production and storytelling mentorship to bolster both their craft and the inspiring work of the nonprofits they feature. In turn, these organizations are left with a visual tool to educate and build constituencies, support funding efforts and encourage participation.

Participants were invited to bring attention to their thoughts, feelings and sensations in each gallery location as they intimately contemplated the artworks on display and record their personal responses through sound and voice. By audio recording their responses to this sensory experience, participants were able to experiment with translating sound into forms of drawing. An archived selection of these responses are available to explore here.
