Hans Arp. Chance - Form - Language (and a FRANZWESTigation)

This catalogue accompanies the exhibition of Hans Arp’s rarely seen later sculptures and poetry, curated by Julian Heynen, at Hauser & Wirth London in early 2014. The book and exhibition aspire to revitalize the perception of the artist not only as a pioneering figure of Dada but also as an innovator of sculptural techniques that continue to hold fascination today. A selection of Franz West’s Adaptives are positioned among Arp’s sculptures, linking Arp’s work with contemporary practice.
