Hauser & Wirth Publishers
Publishing is central to Hauser & Wirth’s programme and identity. Hauser & Wirth Publishers is committed to providing our artists with the opportunity to create distinctive, extensive and high-quality presentations in print.
Hauser & Wirth’s publishing activities consist of monographs, artist’s books, historic exhibition catalogues, collections of artist’s writings and catalogues raisonnés. With over 100 titles created with internationally renowned publishing houses, our extensively-illustrated publications seek to actively encourage understanding about contemporary art.
Our goal is to promote discussion and appreciation by bringing new, sometimes overlooked, aspects of an artist’s creativity into focus. To this end, we invite the insight of specialised editors, commission original, in-depth essays and texts, and also collaborate with esteemed book designers to realise each creative vision. With their rigorous scholarship, detailed photography and reproductions and thoughtful craftsmanship, we produce unique, object-like books that serve as universally accessible, long-term records of our exhibitions and artists’ work.
