- Martin Creed 'Down Over Up'

A major solo exhibition by Martin Creed will go on display at the Fruitmarket Gallery in Edinburgh this summer. Focusing on the additive trope in Creed’s work, the show, entitled ‘Down Over Up’ features newly commissioned work, including an ambitious project that sees the gallery’s staircase transformed into a giant interactive synthesiser. Challenging preconceived notions of the familiar, ‘Down Over Up’ demonstrates the unique theatricality of Creed’s work and his ability to engage with the public’s imagination.
