We look forward to warmly welcoming you to Stand B19, where we will be featuring a major new body of work by Paul McCarthy, which gives sculptural form to themes first explored in his recent Hauser & Wirth New York exhibition, ‘White Snow’. The booth will be populated by a colony of McCarthy’s dwarves, the walls of their home adorned with works by Louise Bourgeois, Subodh Gupta, Mary Heilmann, Roni Horn, Maria Lassnig, Lee Lozano, Joan Mitchell, Pipilotti Rist and many others.
Art Basel Conversations

Paul McCarthy will take part in this year’s first Art Basel Conversations. McCarthy will be in conversation with Massimiliano Gioni, artistic director of the Fondazione Nicola Trussardi in Milan, where the artist is currently showing his enormous and complex installation, ‘Pig Island’.
Rodney Graham ‘Through the Forest’

Concurrent with Art 41 Basel, Rodney Graham’s major survey exhibition, ‘Through the Forest’, will be on view at the Museum für Gegenwartskunst. Covering three decades of his practice, ‘Through the Forest’ traces the evolution of Graham’s work, exploring the different media and cultural references that have played an important part in his artistic production. In conjunction with the exhibition, the artist will give a talk about his work and practice at the Kunstmuseum Basel on Wednesday 16 June at 7:00 pm.
